Team 5142: Robo Dominators is a FIRST: Robotics Competition team headquartered in downtown New Haven. We are independent from a school and students from multiple schools are members, including homeschoolers. It is free to join!
Why should you? Here are a few quick clips and a map of teams to show you more about the program.

Meaningfully joining the team, however, is a commitment. We meet six days a week during the season, and no one is expected to come every day, but to be responsible for a role on the team you are expected to attend 2 or 3 times a week, especially weekends. Competitions are long and for entire weekends.

Transportation
For schools like Metro and HSC, you can walk right over. You might have to take the city bus, drive, or carpool for others. We usually start around 3pm to make sure everyone has time to get there, and 10am on weekends.
You can find the meeting place on the second floor of MakeHaven, you will have to contact a member to let you in.
We try to provide food at as many meetings as possible and have had catering from Haven Hot Chicken and Super Sandwich in the past.
